With over half a million results on Google alone for surfing t-shirts, it seemed an impossible task for online surfwear company ZooZoo2 to achieve any visibility at all on Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Even after only 8 months the results were stunning...
Zoozoo2 was launched as a new online business in Sept 2005 into an extremely competitive online marketplace. Moscovitch designed and built the website, designed and developed the new brand identity and handled the PR. Now it's all very well to have a good looking website designed to support the product offering without overshadowing it and constructed to make the visitor feel at ease whilst making it easy to navigate, but if you can't attract visitors through the front door what have you really achieved?
We had a challenge on our hands to give Zoozoo2 the sort of search engine visibility it deserved.
A planned search engine strategy
At
the beginning of September 2005 Zoozoo2 had zero visibility on any
search engine but by May 2006 the picture was very different. We put in
place a planned strategy based on achievable quick win solutions
together with long term goals.
Our plane was to quickly put in place achievable goals that would start bringing in traffic to the site within the first month whilst laying the ground work for reaching high visibility on MSN, Yahoo and eventually Google for Zoozoo2's dream search terms. By May 2006 we have exceeded our medium term goals. The result - not only is Zoozoo2 averaging 250 visitors a day but we have gone a long way to help establish their young brand across all of their online markets.
