Over 17% of the U.K. population has a disability relevant to usage of the Web. It therefore makes business sense that your website is accessible to the widest possible audience.
Accessibility is not something we tag onto the end of a website build. Accessibility is a natural part of any online strategy we undertake. Our clients, especially public sector organisations, demand nothing less. We adhere to a range of development standards that include: RNIB, The Disability Discrimination Act and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
To meet these accessible standards a website is rated as either A, AA or AAA (AAA being the highest rating). Unless specifically requested by our clients we develop to a minimum of AA as specified by WAI.
We have a lot of experience in developing creative website solutions that are compatible with the widest range of accessiblitiy standards as well as technologies, platforms and browsers. Our designers, search engine specialists and programmers work together to develop fully accessible sites from design concept through template build and SEO intregration as a seamless process.
Information on the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative is available at: www.w3.org/WAI/
